JFK Airport is operated by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (Port Authority). GO Airport Shuttle is the only Permitee of the Port Authority providing shared ride door-to-door service to Connecticut and some areas of Westchester County. JFK is the major center for flights arriving from overseas into the New York metropolitan area. With the growth of Jet Blue Airways it is increasingly popular with domestic travelers as well. The 5,000 acre JFK complex is located 20 to 30 minutes further from Connecticut than La Guardia Airport, the area's main domestic airport.
Travelling to JFK
Reservations are required for all travel to JFK Airport from all locations in Connecticut and Westchester. The first vans of the day arrive into JFK at approximately 5:30am every day subject to travel conditions and at least once per hour after that. When booking your reservation you will be provided an estimated pickup time. Please allow us up to 15 minutes after the estimated time to allow for other pickups in the area or possible unanticipated traffic delays. All our vehicles are tracked with GPS so you can contact us at anytime for an update if you wish.
Arriving at JFK with Reservations:
- Collect Luggage
- Follow airport signs to "Ground Transportation" Counter near most Baggage Claim areas
- Dial 27 from Counter Courtesy Phone to contact our Dispatcher
- Dispatcher will advise you of waiting time for next van. Please wait inside Terminal at available Counter Seating
- Driver will collect you from inside terminal - name will be called out from Counter
- Please board only vans clearly marked "GO Airport Shuttle".
Arriving at JFK without Reservations:
- Collect Luggage
- Follow airport signs to "Ground Transportation" Counter near most Baggage Claim areas
- Request GO Airport Shuttle to your destination from Counter Agent
- Counter Agent will advise you of waiting time for next van and issue you a Boarding Card
- Please wait inside Terminal at available Counter Seating
- Driver will collect you from inside terminal - name will be called out from Counter
- Please board only vans clearly marked "GO Airport Shuttle"
- Payments should only be made to the driver by Credit Card or Cash on the van itself.
JFK Hours of Operation:
For service to locations in Connecticut and Westchester located along the Interstate 95 corridor vehicles depart JFK at least once every 60 minutes from 6:00AM until 11:30PM. Average waiting time for pickup is 20 to 30 minutes.
For service to locations in Connecticut and Westchester located along the Interstate 684 and 84 corridors vehicles depart JFK at least once every 60 minutes from 6:00AM until 10:00PM. Average waiting time is 30 minutes.
