General Prime Time Connecticut Limo Information
Departing
Connecticut
Prime Time Connecticut Airport Shuttle is pleased to offer pickups from most homes, hotels and office locations in our service area. Our vehicles operate along the I-95 corridor below the Merritt Parkway. Vans operate from as far east as New Haven all the way down to Greenwich and into the New York Airports. Limited service is available from areas in Trumbull and Shelton above the Merritt Parkway and easily accessible from Routes 8 and 25. We have now expanded our service area to include Danbury and the surrounding towns along the I-84 corridor and into White Plains, NY
Reservations
Service to the Airport is by reservation
only. It is recommended that reservations be booked at least
48 hours in advance of the proposed travel in order to obtain
the best available pickup time. Reservations can be booked online
up to 24 hours prior to your pickup time, or up to the last
minute (based on available space) by phoning our reservation
center. Please allow enough time for your travel to the airport
when booking. We recommend targeting your arrival at the airport
to be 2 hours in advance of Domestic Flight Departure Times
and 3 hours in advance of International Flight Departure times.
Cancellations
Reservations for pickup before
6:00am in the morning must be canceled by 9:00pm the night before
in order to be entitled to a refund. All other reservations
must be canceled at least 2 hours before the scheduled pickup
time in order to receive a refund. Email cancellations are not
accepted. Cancel your reservation by calling 1 (800) 377-8745
or (203) 891-1280.
Traffic & Weather
Those who know the New York Metropolitan
Area understand that the only thing that is predictable about
the traffic is that it is unpredictable, and that like New England's
weather if you wait a minute it will change. We recommend targeting
your arrival at the airport to be 2 hours in advance of Domestic
Flights and 3 hours in advance of International Flights. If
you are concerned about traffic delays due to weather forecasts
the day before your travel - please call us to book an earlier
time. This will take some of the pressure off you and some of
the pressure off your driver. This will result in a safer more
pleasant trip for you and your fellow travelers.
Hours of Operation
Vehicles depart each town in our
service area at least every 60 minutes for the New York Airports.
Our first arrival into La Guardia Airport is scheduled for approximately
5:00am and into John F. Kennedy International for 5:30am. The
last vans depart Connecticut for arrival into La Guardia at
7:45pm (Eastern) and into JFK at 8:15pm (Eastern)
Reservations can be booked online
at any time up to 24 hours in advance or by calling 1-866-2-THE-AIRPORT.
(1-866-284-3247). Our Reservations Department is open from 7:00am
until 9:00pm Monday through Friday and from 8:00am until 9:00pm

Prime Time Connecticut Airport
Shuttle welcomes the opportunity to serve our "junior"
passengers. Children under the age of 2 and younger travel for
free and children between the ages of 2 and 14 travel at special

Connecticut state law does not
allow children to ride in the lap of an adult.
If your child is under the minimum age and weight standards set
by the state of CT or Connecticut, you are required to supply an approved
car seat for each child that the law applies to. It is the responsibility
of the parent or guardian traveling with the child to make sure
that the child is in compliance with the Connecticut Child Passenger
Restraint Requirements.

Restraint (car seat) Laws for child restraint laws in Connecticut
and other states.

Travel Tips
Allow extra time to get to the
airport. The airlines are requesting that travelers check in
two hours before domestic flights and three hours before international
flights to allow for the additional screening that is taking
place.
Before you pack, check with the
Transportation Security Administration (TSA) TSA
Travel Tips for the latest list of items that you are not
allowed to take on a plane. Here are the basics as far as what
is currently prohibited as carry-on.
Sharp edge or pointed items including
knives of any length, or made from any
Material, are not permitted. That includes the obvious: cutting
instruments of
Every kind, carpet knives, box cutters, knives with folding
or retractable blades
(regardless of blade length), steak knives, straight edge razors,
ice picks, and
scissors. Not so obvious items like that small Swiss Army knife
or oversized baby pin that you keep on your key-chain are also
not allowed.
Flammable sprays including hair
spray cannot be carried on.
Other items, which you might have
carried on in the past including baseball bats, golf clubs,
pool cues, ski poles, and hockey sticks are no longer allowed
in the cabin.
Medically necessary needles and
syringes, including those used by diabetics and EpiPens, carried
by many for allergies, are exempt from these prohibitions if
passengers have in their possession prescription medication
with professionally printed label that identifies the medical
office, pharmacy, or manufacturer of the medication.
Wear comfortable shoes. You will no doubt find yourself doing
more standing and walking than on previous trips.
