Prime Time Connecticut
Airport Shuttle provides full service from the two airports most
popular with Connecticut travelers: John F. Kennedy International
(JFK) and La Guardia Airport.
JOHN
F. KENNEDY INTERNATIONAL (JFK)
JFK Aiport is operated by the Port
Authority of New York and New Jersey (Port Authority). Prime Time Connecticut
Airport Shuttle is the only Permitee of the Port Authority providing
shared ride door-to-door service to Connecticut. JFK is the major
center for flights arriving from overseas into the New York metropolitan
area. With the growth of Jet Blue Airways it is increasingly popular
with domestic travelers as well. The 5,000 acre JFK complex is
located 20 to 30 minutes further from Connecticut than La Guardia
Airport, the area's main domestic airport.
Arriving at JFK with Reservations
All passengers arriving at JFK
and ready for pickup should proceed to the nearest Port Authority
operated Ground Transportation Counter inside the Terminal.
These Counters are well identified and are usually near the
Baggage Claim and Customs Areas. Our dispatcher may be contacted
from the Counter Courtesy Telephone by dialing 27. The dispatcher
will advise you of the next departing vehicle and where to meet
your driver. In most circumstances our drivers will come inside
your airline's terminal and call out your name from the Ground
Transportation Counter. Security procedures may prevent the
driver from entering some terminals. Our dispatcher will advise
you accordingly. Passengers may always seek the assistance of
the Port Authority Agent on duty behind the Counter.
Arriving at JFK without Reservations
We welcome passengers without reservations
on a first come first served basis. All passengers without reservations
must speak directly to a Port Authority Agent at the Ground
Transportation Counter. Be certain to clearly identify your
desire to travel with Prime Time Connecticut Airport Shuttle
and your destination. The Agent will contact our dispatcher
for the next available departure and you will be advised of
the waiting time. The Port Authority Agent will provide you
with a reservation number and they will call out your name and
reservation number when your driver is there to collect you.
JFK Hours of Operation
